- ADN'co has recently conducted a survey on the innovations and trends taking place in the e-commerce, distance selling and online payments business in Europe. Covering about 20 European countries, the survey sheds light on the ever-evolving landscape of online payments in a field which still lacks comprehensive and easily comparable data. The results reveal both similarities and discrepancies in various areas: market maturity, prospects for growth, means of payment in use, average shopping cart, number of e-merchants, purchase typology, etc…
- The survey also reviews more than 35 European e-PSPs (processors specialized in the processing of internet and remote payments) and describes the main features of the largest players, notably in terms of transaction volume and value.
